The Domain Quality Filter cleans messy, bulk domain lists in one pass. Paste or upload thousands of domains and it instantly removes duplicates, malformed entries, spam TLDs, adult and gambling sites, parked-for-sale names, hyphen-stuffed spam, and number-heavy junk - leaving you with a clean, ready-to-use list.
It is built for SEO teams, link builders, lead-gen specialists and researchers who work with large domain exports from crawlers, backlink tools, scrapers and directories. Instead of manually scanning lists for low-quality domains, you get a clear table that shows exactly which domains were kept, removed, or flagged - and why.
Everything runs locally in your browser using JavaScript. Your domain lists are never uploaded to a server, never logged and never stored, so even confidential prospect or client data stays entirely on your own device.

How to use Domain Quality Filter
- Paste your domain list into the box, or upload a .txt or .csv file from your device.
- Leave the default filters on, or toggle individual checks (adult, gambling, spam TLDs, hyphens, numbers) on and off.
- Adjust the thresholds - maximum hyphens and maximum digits - and edit the spam-TLD list if you need to.
- Use the view selector to show all domains, only the clean ones, only removed, or only flagged entries.
- Click Filter domains to build the results table with a Status and Reason for every domain.
- Review the summary stats, then export the clean list to CSV or TXT, or copy it to your clipboard.
Benefits
- SEO and link-building teams strip junk out of backlink and prospect exports before outreach.
- Lead-gen specialists feed cleaner domain lists into enrichment and email-finding workflows.
- Researchers and analysts remove obvious spam before sampling or categorising large datasets.
- Agencies protect their sending reputation by filtering out adult, gambling and parked domains.
- Anyone handling sensitive lists benefits from local processing that keeps data off external servers.
- Teams save hours of manual review because every removal comes with a clear, auditable reason.
Detection is pattern-based and runs entirely in your browser, so it does not make any network requests to the domains themselves. That means it cannot perform live website checks, HTTP status verification, or content-based parked-page detection - those require a server to fetch each site. Instead, parked detection here keys on for-sale wording in the domain name, and quality is judged from the domain string: its TLD, hyphen count, digit ratio, encoding and known spam keywords.
Every filter is optional and tunable. Turn off any category you do not want, raise or lower the hyphen and digit thresholds, edit the spam-TLD list to match your own standards, or add your own keywords to the custom blocklist. Punycode / internationalised domains are flagged rather than deleted, so you can review legitimate non-ASCII domains before deciding.
Because the result is a full report with a reason for every removal, you can audit the output, export it to CSV, and keep a record of why each domain was dropped. Pair it with the Email Extractor or Email List Cleaner to turn a clean domain list into a verified contact list.
